What is CARE4NEt

Launched on March 2, 2024, the Collaborative Alliance of Research and Education for Nursing Empowerment – CARE4NEt – is an international research hub aiming to foster nursing workforce capacity building through innovative research, transformative education, and strategic partnerships, with a particular focus on regions where nurses are striving for greater empowerment.

Why Did We Choose This Acronym?

Collaborative: because we focus on collaborative efforts between people who have common goals to ensure the sustainability of the nursing discipline and profession.
Alliance: to emphasize that we form a unity of all members.
Research: which is our primary focus to advance different nursing domains.
Education: since we aim to offer learning and training activities.
4: to indicate that we have an intended purpose.
Nursing: which is our professional identity.
Empowerment: to help nursing move from a weak to an empowered discipline and profession.
