CARE4NEt would like to welcome Ms. Michèle Desmarais as a research member to be part of the following strategic themes:
Ms. Desmarais is a PhD candidate at Ingram School of Nursing, McGill University. She has 12 years of clinical experience as a mental health nurse. Since 2019, she has been the editor of the Cyberjournal of the Ordre régional des infirmières et infirmiers de Montréal/Laval. Using a focused ethnography with a participatory approach, her doctoral research aims to explore children’s and adolescents’ mental health. More specifically, she would like to improve their quality of care by developing new knowledge about eating disorders and suicide prevention in children and adolescents.
